Paramount — Server Rules

A Song of Ice and Fire Towny RP Server

General Conduct (Minecraft & Discord)

• No racism, homophobia, ableism, discrimination, harassment, or personal attacks outside RP.
• No NSFW content, sexual content, or predatory behavior. Characters may marry; no explicit/mature RP.
• No spamming or mass-pinging.
• Don't ask staff for free items or to return lost items.
• Not knowing a rule isn't an excuse for breaking it.

Building & Fair Play

• Automatic farms must be underground and no larger than 20x20x20.
• Max 30 mob entities per House/Faction (lag control).
• No hacking, X-ray, duping, or exploits for an unfair advantage.
• No spawn-trapping, grief, or combat logging.
• Don't grief or alter builds that aren't yours.
• Builds should fit the setting — no modern/sci-fi structures.
• Banned items (list grows as needed): wind charges, ender pearls, TNT, riptide tridents.

Roleplay

• Know your character — give them goals, and act in-character consistently.
• Include others in your RP, not just friends. Be respectful, don't interrupt or grief scenes.
• No god-modding, power-playing, or metagaming.
• Stay lore-accurate and consistent with current server events.
• Get consent before involving another player in major events (marriage, trade, alliances).
• Wars need an in-RP justification — wars without cause will be voided by staff.
• Leadership roles (lords, monarchs, etc.) come with an expectation to actually roleplay.
• One new character per 7 days.

Staff

• Staff can open a ticket for lore/RP clarification — don't close it yourself.
• Staff have final say on lore, RP disputes, and rule edge cases.

Punishments

Simple 3-strike system for most rules — staff can skip straight to a harsher step for severe cases.

Staff use discretion on severity, intent, and history. Appeals go through the support channel; staff decisions are final unless overturned by an admin.
